Walk the Mendips is proud to offer a new range of courses and events in association with Sean Mulhall

Like many folk, Sean 'the silver fox' Mulhall first became interested in Bushcraft thanks to Ray Mears. He remembers as a boy watching him on Country Tracks in the UK. Like Adrian, Sean does not come from a military background unlike many of the bushcraft instructors so therefore these courses do not always focus on survival situations. The preference is more about working, living and using the natural resources around ourselves to enjoy the wilderness.

In particular, Sean enjoys making items and modifying shop bought items to suit his requirements, and he is extremely creative and talented in this area. Sean has many ideas for new kit and he is always experimenting with them.

To Sean, the word 'Bushcraft' encompasses a multitude of different outdoor activites.
